The friendly atmosphere of this family run C category Hotel makes it a superb base for your holiday, whether you choose to explore Paleokastritsa and the surrounding countryside, take a bus into Corfu Town and shop in the magnificent Old Town, or visit the numerous sights and monuments, take part in one of the many sports available nearby or just relax and do absolutely nothing at all whatever you wish, its your holiday to enjoy as you please.
The Hotel Apollon is situated in an idealic position 50m from the waters edge on the main beach of Paleokastritsa. The resort itself is probably the most picturesque of all in Corfu and is perfect for a relaxing holiday with its safe beaches, clean sea, local historic places of interest to visit and mountain walks.

- GENERAL
There is a Hotel Reception open 8 a.m. until midnight offering the hiring of safety deposit boxes, car and moped rental, money exchange facilities, internet service and even selling postcards and stamps. The Bar is open from early morning until late with satellite T.V. The Restaurant opens for breakfast at 8.30 a.m. and serves continually until 10.30 p.m. Our extensive menu, ranging from toasties, to local dishes such as mousaka and sofrito, right through to lobster for that special meal of your holiday is reasonably priced and our kitchen has English hygeine standards! There is even a Bakery attached to the hotel serving freshly baked pies and pastries to take-away during the day. - ACTIVITIES
For guest enjoyment the Apollon offers entertainment 2 - 5 times weekly depending on season including a Greek Night, Karaoke, Live Music, Trivia Quizes and Bingo. Non-Residents are always welcome into the Hotel Restaurant and encouraged to join in our entertainment nights. - SERVICES
The Greek/English management of the Hotel create a friendly atmosphere and will do their utmost to ensure that you get the most out of your holiday with many guests returning year after year. The Hotel Apollon is centrally situated in the Resort of Paleokastritsa on the North West coast of Corfu, 25 kms from the Port of Corfu or 27 kms from the International airport. Transfer to the Hotel is easiest by taxi which will cost approximately 30 Euros and takes only 25 minutes. The local bus service runs during the day from the centre of Corfu Town to exactly outside the Hotel, costs only 1,90 euros and takes 25 minutes. The name Paleokastritsa comes from the Greek old castle, the area being named after the old castle overhanging the resort, accessed from the village of Krini. Corfiot people consider, quite rightly Paleokastritsa to be the most picturesque resort of all Corfu with its dramatic mountains and olive groves sweeping down to the crystal clear sea.

ROOM FACILITIES |

The Hotel is a good C Category, fully registered with the National Tourist Organisation of Greece and offers 42 rooms spread between two buildings. All of our rooms have either twin or double bed, private bathroom, telephone, fridges, air conditioning and balcony. The building is of the traditional style being 40 years old but has been gradually fully re-furbished by the present owners over the last 5 years and offers clean, comfortably furnished rooms with probably the best position in the whole resort. |

LOCATION INFORMATION |
| Paleokastritsa is a perfect choice for your holiday, 3 kms long with numerous beaches offering safe bathing, boat trips around the caves, self-drive motorboats and watersports. Most of the bays are either pebble or a mix of sand and pebbles and the larger bays offer changing rooms and fresh water showers on the beach. It is however a spread-out area and not recommended for people with walking difficulties due to the hilly terrain. Tavernas and bars are spread throughout the resort offering a mixed and varied nightlife ranging from romantic quiet bars on the waters edge to disco bars offering dancing until the early hours. Local supermarkets are well stocked and colorful souvenir shops are plentiful throughout the resort, both opening from 9 am until 9 pm - 7 days a week. |
